CK - Custom Home Addition

For this project, HoneyB Construction undertook an impressive 1,000-square-foot addition to an existing home located in the picturesque town of St. Francisville. Our initial phase involved meticulous site preparation to ensure a seamless integration with the existing structure. We then moved on to the foundational work, which included forming the concrete and digging footers to establish a solid base for the addition.

Understanding the importance of accessibility and maintenance, we opted for a crawl space addition. To enhance the durability and functionality of this space, we poured concrete, providing a robust and clean surface for any future under-house access. The concrete was expertly tied in with CMU block piers, ensuring stability and structural integrity.

With the foundation securely in place, our team began the framing process. We meticulously installed floor joists, setting the stage for the subsequent phases of construction. As of now, the framing of the floor is complete, and we are poised to continue building upon this solid groundwork.
